You’ll know your rank in June. You’ll have to file your college preferences in July. The interval between those two dates is the most anxious month in an aspirant’s life. SolveKar AI’s College Predictor — currently in development — closes that gap.
What it will do
Enter your rank, your category, your home state, and a few branch preferences. The predictor will return:
- The IIT, NIT, IIIT, or GFTI branches you’d realistically secure for JEE
- The government and private medical colleges you’d realistically secure for NEET
- Per-college confidence based on the last 3 years of closing ranks
- A category-aware shortlist — General, OBC, SC, ST, EWS, PwD, with home-state quota factored in
- A counselling-round breakdown — what’s likely in Round 1 vs. Round 5, so you understand the spread
What it will be built on
- JoSAA opening & closing ranks — IITs, NITs, IIITs, GFTIs, last 3 years
- MCC NEET counselling closing ranks — AIIMS, JIPMER, government medical, last 3 years
- State counselling data — Maharashtra CET, Karnataka KCET, Tamil Nadu, etc. progressively rolling out
- Branch and category cross-tables — so a Mechanical-or-CS preference filter actually works
- 2026 calibration — once the 2026 cycle closes, the predictor incorporates the latest round data
When it ships
The College Predictor is planned for the next major SolveKar AI release. The data ingestion (JoSAA, MCC, state counselling) is in progress; the front-end UI is in design. We’ll announce on the Google Play listing and email subscribers when it’s live.

In the meantime
The AIR Rank Predictor is live today — convert your mock-test marks into an estimated rank for JEE Main, JEE Advanced, or NEET. The College Predictor is the next step on top of that.
