You’ve finished a mock test. You scored 187 out of 300. The next question — and it’s the only one that matters — is: what AIR does that translate to? SolveKar AI’s Rank Predictor answers it in seconds, using five years of actual cohort data.

How it works
- Pick your exam — JEE Main, JEE Advanced, or NEET
- Enter your marks — section-wise if your exam has sections
- Pick your category — General, OBC, SC, ST, EWS, PwD
- Get your estimated AIR — instantly, with a confidence band
What’s behind the numbers
The predictor uses publicly available cumulative cohort data from the last 5 years of each exam:
- 2021 – 2025 marks-vs-rank distributions for JEE Main, JEE Advanced, and NEET
- Category-wise normalisation so a 170 in the General list and a 170 in the SC list give you the rank in your category
- Difficulty adjustment — if the predictor knows you’re entering a 2024 mock score and 2024 was a harder paper, it factors that in
- Confidence band — not just a single number, but a range so you understand the noise
Why this matters
Aspirants don’t track marks — they track rank. A score of 187 means very different things in JEE Main vs. JEE Advanced vs. NEET. The Rank Predictor closes that translation gap. After every mock test, you know exactly where you’d land if today were exam day — and exactly how much you need to push.
Top-tier coaching institutes run their own predictors, but only release results after a delay and only for their own students. SolveKar AI’s predictor is free, instant, and available to every aspirant — regardless of where they study.
Limitations we’re honest about
- The predictor is an estimate, not a guarantee. The actual rank depends on the difficulty of the live paper, the cohort that sat the exam, and how many candidates appeared.
- The confidence band reflects the noise. If your score is in a region where rank distribution is flat (e.g. middle ranks), the band will be wider.
- We update the predictor after each year’s official results are released — so the 2026 data goes live once NTA publishes the rank list.
